An Introduction to Snowshoeing...

Hello again! Many apologies for the lack of posts here lately. I've been out and about exploring the tropical rain forests of Vancouver Island. I'll be sure to share that with you soon, but first I wanted to wrap up showing a few photos from my parent's travels to the Pacific Northwest.

Before catching a flight back to Florida, Brandon and I took my folks on a little snowshoeing adventure in Seymour Provincial Park. It must have been quite the sight to see; three inexperienced Floridians traipsing about in foot upon foot of snow for the first time. I had no idea what to expect, but I absolutely loved ever moment of it. I had no idea hiking about in the snow could be so peaceful. I now understand the allure of fresh powder. It's simply magical. Luckily, I think there's still a few more hikes I can get in this season. I'm so happy to have been able to share this inaugural snowshoeing experience with my parents. It made it just that much more delightful.

On another note, lookie who it is. That's right, Nickel Creek is back and has a new album coming out April 1st.

Time to go parade about in the sunshine. Enjoy!
