Oh Friday, I am so glad that you have arrived. I awoke this morning dreaming of sun-kissed days and sand under my toes. I really should not complain, the slight chill in the air outside is nothing compared to the 30 degree lows in places such as Norfolk and New York. Judging by the picturesque scene outside my window this weekend looks as if it is going to be quite a pleasant one.
The tune below may have something to do with my longing for warm surf weather. One of my all time favorite lyrics is embedded in this song, "God fearing people at the bottom of the sea..." These nine words are so brilliantly strung together. Let it be Sung. I just love it.
Hopefully this weekend I can pull the "night of stargazing" card so that I can try out my new star chart (here). Thank you Nicole and Jill; you're simply the best.
Also, tonight is Gallery Night in downtown Pensacola. Ben and I will be playing again outside of The Leisure Club from 5:00-9:00. It is the last Gallery Night of the year so come and celebrate with us.
I hope your weekend is a lovely one. Enjoy!
