A Tuesday Air Show...

The weather on Saturday was absolutely perfect. Nicole and I parked at the Officers Club and made the mile and a half trek to Sherman Field to watch the Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show. I can't help but feel like a little kid every time I see the Blues fly. The November air show is always extra special; different planes from squadrons across the country fly in just to be apart of the weekend's fun. I recognized an E-2 Hawkeye on the far side of the tarmac which reminded me of some old friends in Norfolk. I'll make it back up that way eventually.

I just know that one of these days I'll be at the show and hear the names of one or more of my friends being announced as the Lieutenant of the #2 or #5 plane. I have full confidence in their talents and abilities. I'm just waiting for the day that I know the announcer...

I've posted some pictures from my air show adventure below. From the individual take off of each of the F-18s to the simultaneous deplaning of the pilots, my Blue Angels never let me down.

I hope your Tuesday is a fabulous one. Enjoy!
